Santha Rowles is a writer-director drawn to female-centered stories told through the lens of psychological horror and thriller. A graduate of Emerson College with a BA in Visual & Media Arts Production, she recently directed Valhalla, currently in post-production. Her award-winning short Obscura premiered at the La Femme International Film Festival and New York Cinefest, earning multiple honors including Silver Awards for Best Thriller Short and Best First-Time Female Director.

Recent work includes directing Angel Cintrón's music video alongside several commercial projects now in post-production. Rowles is also developing a slate of upcoming projects: the sci-fi drama Light of My Life with producer Juan Herrera, the religious horror short Saintess, and her debut feature film with producer Rhea Damani. Her work examines complex power dynamics and women's rights, blending cinematic storytelling with social impact.
